On April 12, following the Easter Morning Worship at 9am, Mt Pleasant will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt.  All are invited.

It's time to think about the summer camps and retreats that the Susquehanna Conference provides through the year. Online registration is now open at susumcamps.org. A full brochure with descriptions of all camps and retreats is also on the camp site. Paper copies of the brochure are available at the church. The Early Bird Discount deadline is May 1, 2020.

This year for annual conference, May 28 - 30, the Susquehanna Conference has issued a mission challenge. All seven districts are each being asked to collect one item which is used to make up Mission Central Care Kits. Churches are then asked to send those items with their pastor and/or lay member to Annual Conference. During Annual Conference, participants will have the opportunity to work together to tangibly give out our call to work for the transformation of the world by assembling those care kits, which will then be distributed through our partners at Mission Central and UMCOR.
Our Lewisburg District is asked to collect hand towels, good quality, preferably 15X25 - 17X27 inches in size. Our goal is to triple the goal set for the annual conference by collecting 3,000 towels to be used in those care kits.
That is an average of 27 towels per congregation.
All hand towels will need to be in the church no later than Sunday, May 24.
Thank you in advance for showing how the Lewisburg District can share their heart for missions.

The Annual Souper Bowl celebration was held during morning worship and followed by a soup lunch at noon on February 2, 2020. All youth who participated in the Souper Bowl planning, service and lunch did a fantastic job.  A special thank-you goes out to all who provided delicious soups for our celebration.  $468. 25 was raised for our local soup kitchen, Elijah's Bowl.
