Members of the Susquehanna Valley Parish will meet at the Cinema Center at the Susquehanna Valley Mall, Selinsgrove, PA, on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 12:45pm to see the Movie "The War Room." A "War Room" study will be held Sundays of September 6, 13, 20, and 27 at 7pm.

Rally Day/Bring them Back to Church/Hymn Sing

Sunday, September 20, 2015 will be our special Rally Day with a 'Bring Bring Them Back to Church" Theme. We will begin at 9am with our regular worship service which will then lead into a hymn sing (with favorite hymns selected by you) through the Sunday School hour followed by a lunch provided by the church. We will have a campfire where you can make Mountain Pies & S'mores. We will also have lunch meat with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, etc to make your own hoagies. More details as they become available.

Outdoor Worship Service

Sunday, August 23, 2015 Mt Pleasant UMC will celebrate their worship outdoors in the picnic pavilion. It will also be the day for our annual backpack drive and include the presentation of Bibles to children going into 3rd grade and youth going into 9th grade.

The annual church picnic will be held at noon, following the Sunday School hour. Barbequed chicken, paper products and utensils will be provided. Please bring a covered dish to share.
